Shine True discovered her painting abilities in 2019 when she came across some paints and canvas, and set out to make a birthday present. Shine did not have enough paint to finish the painting, and it never made it to its intended recipient, but she knew that painting was what she should be doing with her life. During the start of the pandemic, Shine had been working in the entertainment industry, her long planned event was cancelled, and the world shut down. During this time, she dedicated lockdown to learning the skills and nuances of painting. Shine currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she continues to learn and evolve as and artist, and has set her aspirations to becoming a full-time professional painter.
